Center for Active Landscape (CAL) participated in the 6th ISPAH Congress: The International Congress on Physical Activity and Public Health in Bangkok Thailand, 16-19 November 2016. CAL researchers presented three papers related to park and physical activity: two in oral parallel sessions and one paper as poster presentation.

CAL also presented the past and current researches in the exhibition booth, which received acknowledgment from international participants. It was also featured in the daily journal of the congress.

During the conference, CAL was actively involved in the formulation of “The Bangkok Declaration on Physical Activity for Global Health and Sustainable Development”, a consensus statement which aims to remind and reinforce the importance of physical activity, not only for health and NCDs prevention, but also to contribute to sustainable development goals (SDGs) 2030.
